Mum's and daughters

I had a great day yesterday with my mum. My own daughter and I have 'mummy daughter' days and yesterday I had a 'mummy daughter' day with my own mum which my daughter found amusing. She didn't realise that it doesn't matter how old you are, you can still have special times spent with your mum.

I then finished the day trying to clean up my sewing room.............needless to say I am still trying to get it done today. I also spent 4 hours in my sons room cleaning that up................I still haven't finished the sewing room.............

Friday.......Hooray

Well another day. I have had sick children all week. Poor little mites. Three out of four home from school. One returned today. The other two still not well. I also had a sick hubby home yesterday. They are all on the mend though.

I have included a pic of two softie dolls I made. They are Polly softies. I will have to borrow the book again so I can give credit to the designer. They were so much fun to make. I have the bug as I am going to make two more. One for each child. Isn't is funny how kids can be. My eldest is 15 and 11 months ( as he keeps reminding us all) and still likes me to make him things. Teenagers.......I will never understand them.........I don't even think I understood them when I was one myself.........lol.

Have a lovely day all

So new at this

Hello all,
I am so new to blogging and I am not sure if I will continue with it. It has taken me a while to set up so I will not be posting about much at all really. I am off to bed shortly. I will post photo's soon of my crafting projects. I enjoy cloth doll making and Softies, they are so cute. I also sew clothing, quilts, bags, I paint, knit and crochet. As I said in my profile, Crafter of all, master of none.

Take care

A Jules
